- Thank you for a lovely stay in this perfectly sited cottage - a bit cold the first night, but it was -2°C! Then the log burner & subsequent heatwave allowed us to live in the 'sun room' - what a view! And wonderful bird orchestra! 23-29/04/16, Lisette, Cas & the mutts, Scotland.

- Brilliant cottage, had a lovely stay, nice weather too. Neighbours helpful as well. 04-09/04/16, Charli, Marc and Skye.

- Cottage has everything that we needed. Fantastic log burner, logs easy to source. Heats every room adequately + radiators as backup. Great for visiting different areas and good dog walking. Love it. We will be returning soon. Mark next door, lovely, friendly and helpful. 11/07/15, David and Gill.

- Our first trip to the North Pennines & certainly won't be the last. Cottage had everything we wanted. Lovely & peaceful. Did some great walking, Cauldrin Snout at Cowgreen is really something, High and Low Force, Stone Circle at Salkeld. Nenthead a great base for getting around this area. - First time visitors. Loved the rustic isolation. Fabulous walks and enjoyed seeing lots of ruins. Very well equipped cottage and loved the wood burner.
