A traditional stone built, two bedroom cottage (sleeps 6), dating from 1640.

Set high on the hillside above the village of Nenthead near Alston in the heart of the Pennines and just over  an hour from the lake District, Northumberland  National Park & The Dales.

With stunning views, fantastic walks, the C2C cycle route straight from the door and Alston Moor Golf Course a 10 minute drive away.

The village of Nenthead is a 5 minute walk down the hill, where you will find the Community shop, the Overwater Restaurant, a playground, The Miners Arms Pub and the Nenthead Mine which  has a heritage  centre & cafe.
